about

matthew fasce

designer & illustrator

Originally from the Finger Lakes region of New York, Matthew is currently based in Washington, DC and serves clients nationwide. Prior to forging a career in design, Matthew spent 6 years as a professional actor in New York City and Los Angeles. Matthew pursued a rigorous education in the performing arts from some of the top conservatories in the country, including The Circle in the Square (alum Lady Gaga, Viola Davis, Philip Seymour Hoffman), Playhouse West (alum Michelle Pfieffer, Jim Carey, James Franco), and the Annie Grindlay Studio (alum Rami Malek). Matthew channels his knowledge of performance into his work as a designer, striving to create images that are striking, intentional, and memorable. Matthew aims to toe the line between art and design, creating brand identities and visual systems with the same life, energy and emotion that a character would have on stage.

Matthew believes that all visual collateral should be as unique as the business they represent, which is why he does not provide cookie cutter, template based visual solutions to his clients. Instead, Matthew creates all of his work by hand after deeply investigating your business, your brand, and your target audience. Matthew is an expert in Webflow and the Adobe creative platform and currently specializes in custom websites, original logos and visual identities, and custom illustration and patterns for premium, brand oriented businesses.

He has worked with brands such as The Inn at Little Washington (Forbes 5 Star, Michelin 3 Star), Patty O’s Cafe (Michelin le Liste), Resort Hotel Association, and others. He has experience designing within luxury hospitality, restaurants, the arts, and speciality retail and is currently on the preferred list for design support at a number of agencies and creative consultancies across the country.
